Working with me

I have a passion for walking alongside people in the midst of struggle. When you come to therapy, it's like you are trying to climb a mountain. As your telehealth psychologist, I am not at the top of your mountain but, rather, on another mountain, offering a different perspective, pointing out potential dangers, and helping you find the most effective path along your journey.

My approach includes:

  • Active collaboration — you're the expert on your life, and we work together as a team
  • Evidence-based treatments proven effective for anxiety, OCD, PTSD, and depression
  • A warm, compassionate environment where you feel heard and understood
  • Flexible online sessions that fit your schedule and location across California

What I treat

Anxiety
Constant worry or racing thoughts, panic, that "what if" loop you can't switch off.
LGBTQ+ therapy
Affirming support for queer lives and relationships, from someone who won't make you explain the basics.
OCD
Intrusive thoughts you can't shake, and the checking or rituals you do to feel okay.
ADHD & Neurodivergence
Understanding how your brain works — ADHD, autism, focus, follow-through — and building a life that works with it, not against it.
Couples & relationships
Recurring conflict, feeling disconnected, or growing apart — and rebuilding closeness and trust.
Culturally responsive care
Care that accounts for your culture, background, and identity — and never asks you to leave any part of yourself at the door.
Depression
Low mood, loss of interest, exhaustion, or feeling stuck and disconnected from what used to matter.
Gender-affirming care
Affirming support around gender identity and transition, with collaborative care that centers you.
Perinatal
The hard parts of trying to conceive, pregnancy, postpartum, or loss.
Phobias
Specific, intense fears — of places, situations, or things — that quietly shrink what your life can include.
Stress
Feeling stretched thin, overwhelmed, or running on empty — a low-pressure place to start when everything feels like too much.
PTSD & trauma
Struggling after a really stressful experience — difficult memories, sleep, feeling on edge, and changes in how you see yourself, other people, or the world.
Veterans & healthcare workers
Care that understands the weight of service and frontline work — burnout, trauma, transition, and moral injury.

How I keep learning

I think continued learning is crucial as a provider. I participate in a weekly consultation group with other providers where we learn from each other and practice. I typically attend a professional conference a year, which allows me to connect with other providers as well as attend panels and workshops to learn about specific populations and therapy techniques. I am always reading a psychology book. Right now, I am enjoying Jennifer Kemp and Monique Mitchelson's Neurodivergent Skills Workbook for Autism and ADHD. Lastly, I am constantly learning from my clients. They are sharing new information, experiences, or metaphors that I am taking in and using. If I am not aware of what's being shared, best believe I will be googling it later.
