"In the heart of therapy, we discover strength in vulnerability and transform challenges into stepping stones for growth."

What’s it like working with you?

I appreciate that therapy is both an art and a science, and how powerful relational healing can be. I believe good therapy involves open communication, and am happy to discuss how my own identities (queer, white, femme, etc.) influence my therapeutic approach and how this may show up in our work together.

How do your values inform your work?

Our intersectional identities and socio-ecological backgrounds are essential aspects to who we are, how we interact with and experience the world, and how the world interacts with and experiences us. Many of us are raised to dismiss our feelings, and therapy can be a radical act to reconnect us to our inner guide, opening our worlds to healing, meaning, and joy.

My Professional Journey

Clinical psychology has been my calling and contribution, starting with my Ph.D. from the University of Montana, focused on violence and oppression. My training spanned from the Portland VA to Harbor-UCLA, where I specialized in trauma and LGBTQ+ health. My diverse experiences in various healthcare settings have enriched my therapeutic approach and dedication to lifelong learning, teaching, and patient advocacy.
